Welcome to the website of the USC Nanotechnology Research Laboratory, headed by Professor Chongwu Zhou and located at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles in the Department of Electrical Engineering. Our research program is interdisciplinary and links nanoscale physics, electronics, chemistry and material science. The nano-material systems we focus on are carbon nanotubes and conjugated molecular wires. The aim of our research is to study the fundamental physics and material properties in these systems and to explore potential applications in electronics and biological systems.We have a broad range of ongoing research projects and we invite you to learn more about the research in which we are currently involved.
